NISMO

Oct. 15, 2011 Nismo with Jason & Angelina of Edmonton, AB.

Oct. 18, 2011Nismo has been home for almost 5 days now and he is doing great! He has met lots of people and he is such a people dog! He's not shy at all and hasn't showed any fear to new situations. When we drove home, it was all excited with his tail wagging. Once we hit the highway he passed right out. We put him in his crate the first night and he cried for about 20 minutes and then settled down. Now, he doesn't cry at all in his crate at night and he's gaining more self-confidence when we have to leave during the day.
He's a really smart dog and is picking up things quickly. He already sits on command and is getting better at going to the door when he has to go potty. He hasn't had many accidents in the house as he is pretty obvious about when he needs to potty, so we catch him 99% of the time before he goes. We've also introduced walking on a leash and he's getting better and better at it. We walk him for about 10 minutes in the morning (this will increase as he gets older) and in the evenings we walk him for about 20 minutes, gradually going longer and longer. He's still unsure about cars zooming by but he's getting much better with them. After his evening walks he's pooped and is just so pleasant for rest of the night.Overall, I cannot believe how good of a puppy he is. He's always so happy to see us, and picks up on everything easily and quickly. We are so happy with him! I can't wait to see him grow, and I could swear that he is bigger then when we picked him up :)

Sept. 15, 2010 Hello Adrienne,
Just wanted to give you an update on the pup's ride home and the first night at his new home. The car ride went well, he fell asleep on my lap and when I stopped for gas outside of Legal I put him in his kennel and he again fell asleep all the way to Red Deer. It took him awhile to warm up to house but seems more settled today. We both went to bed at 9:00, me in my bed and him in his crate. He whined for maybe 3 mins and then settled. I woke up at 1:00 and took him out to the bathroom and again at 6:00. Today's goal has been trying to house train him, and he seems to be doing better each time. Anyways hope all is well. Will send pics once I have a camera. Megan

Mar. 16, 2011 Sorry  this took so long to get to you.  Here are a few pictures of Cassie and Tugg.  She doesn't like to sit still much, so some pictures get a little blurry.  My, does she have personality and she's quite the talker too.  We are all so glad she was the last one left. She is now as tall as Tugg...who is 2 1/2 I'm starting to wonder if she will ever stop growing!  She pesters him just like a little sister.  If she turns out to be half the hunting companion Tugg is we will be thrilled.  These pics are from the fall as soon as I get the rest uploaded I will send a few new ones.

He is doing great.  Samson has never done washroom in his kennel. 
He only whimpered a bit on the first night and has adjusted well since.
