Montana is fox red, born November 2002. We imported him as a puppy from Montana, U.S.A. He descends from a line of Pointing Labrador Retrievers. A Pointing Lab is different from a retriever as they do not flush a bird. These dogs are sent out to find birds. Once they find the game, they hold a point to indicate the position of the bird to the owner. This allows the hunter to position himself for the best shot. Even after the bird flushes on its own, is shot and falls to the ground, these dogs continue to hold until given the command to retrieve the bird.

We imported Chitto as a puppy from Mississippi, USA. We have great hopes for him as a future sire for females that we kept from Ruby and Penny. He is a big boy and very dark fox red and what a wonderful temperament!
