CHARLIE BEAR

We wanted to send you an email to say Hi and Thank you once again for our "Charlie Bear".  Today being her birthday, we thought it a fitting day to write and say Hi!
It has been a very exciting year with her.  She has been quite a fun challenge, she is completely opposite in personality then our other laid back pup Petey.  And the saying still holds true that opposites attract, cuz they are best of friends.  They go everywhere together. One is always following the other!!
Charlie is very energetic and full of spirit.  She makes us laugh on a daily basis!   Her favorite spot in the house is curled up in front of our pellet stove or snuggled up close to us on the couch - which ever is warmer!  She is very inquisitive about everything - especially any nature or animal sound that may be coming from the TV.  She stops what she is doing and stands there tilting her head back and forth intently watching.  She loves to let out these cute moans whenever she stretches or lays down to go to sleep.
I have to say it has been most fun taking her to obedience and agility classes.  She loves to learn and is a very smart pup!  And actually because of how well I was able to train her in class, the instructors (married couple) asked me to be a volunteer trainer for them!  So I am now learning the art of training dogs and helping out a lot of people and their pups in the process, And I guess I owe that to my lil Charlie Bear! Thank you so much for her!!!  We love her so much and are so happy to have her. She's just an awesome dog!!!!!
I attach some pics of her for you to enjoy, starting with a few of her younger moving up to a couple I took today!  Take care.
Sincerely, Brad & Tasha - Prince George, BC

DAYTONA

April 5, 2008  What a GREAT traveller!
We feel truly blessed.  We are a camping family, and what a great little
traveller we have in Daytona.  After some loud objections, we introduced
him to some chew toys, and his little stuffed dog, and he settled down.
We were able to travel about 1&1/2hrs before we stopped for pee and
water and exercise breaks, a pattern we kept all the way back home.
He met his new big sister, and ran in the yard some before coming in the
house and investigating.  When he was done he climbed into his travel
kennel, and closed his eyes.
Now we all need to settle down for the night.
What an exciting day!
Thank you for taking such good care of our new family member.

April 11, 2008 I think I can speak for all of us when I say, we are in love! Daytona is a great little boy.  He let’s us sleep through the night.  He had a good vet-check, and was a doll for the Doc’. He is a GREAT communicator, with little whines when thirsty, or when he needs a bathroom break.  He’s not without an accident or two yet, but it won’t be long before he’s house-trained. I’m excited that he has the instinct to “fetch’ already.  He has a favorite blanket that he loves to play with and cuddle in. We’ve had him for only 6 ½ days, and I have taken 35 pictures. What a great little guy! No, you can’t have him back. J Again, thanks for raising such a good puppy.

Brutus

Andrew of Baie Verte, Nfld.  has sent us some pictures of Brutus. Isn't he handsome?

Jagger

I wanted to send you some pictures of Jagger (from Misty & Clancy, Feb 18 litter).  He’s over 25 lbs now at 3 months, and his paws seem to be growing faster than the rest of him, he’s going to be a big guy! He’s growing into a gorgeous boy, and gets compliments everywhere we go.  He’s quite the character and getting too smart for his own good.  He’s doing very well with crate training, and knows that it is “his house”, and the last couple of weeks we’ve had some really good break throughs with the potty training, so things are going really well – now that he’s caught on, he likes to run to the bottom of the stairs and “pretend” and then he expects his potty treat when he comes back, it’s really funny!  The pictures here are from going out to the family farm this weekend and he had a blast, all the smells and things to play with.  He’s doing well with socializing and loves to play with other dogs.  Thank-you so much for our little guy, we couldn’t love him more! Jan. 21, 2009 I thought I would share some pictures of my boy, all grown up (he'll be two next month, from Misty's February 2007 litter).  He filled out to 85 lbs, and I think he's done growing now.  He's grown into such a wonderful companion, and such a sweet temperament - exactly the reason I wanted another Lab.  He did great at school (once we learned to work with all the distractions :), we finished level one and two last year and he got Most Improved.  He goes to Doggie daycare a couple if times a week now, and absolutely LOVES it, there are quite a few labbies, so he has lots of high energy friends like him! I've passed your name on to many people, I always get asked where I got my beautiful dog from.
Take care, and thank-you again for my boy! Sarah, Edmonton
Pictures are of our favorite park by my house, and opening Christmas presents :)
