Oct. 8, 2009 Duke left for his journey to live with Tom in Saskatoon, SK.

MAX

Oct. 10, 2009 Max getting ready to leave here with Randy  and Denise from Leduc, Ab.

Oct. 15, 2009 Hey there, it's Denise & Randy from Leduc, Max's new parents, just updating you on his well being, he's doing wonderful and fitting in really well, the first 3 nights were tough, he was doing a lot of crying, which is to be expected, he has new friends PJ & peanut who are Randy's sister's dogs. He is getting well aquatinted with our kitties, at first the cats wouldn't give him the chance of a life time to go near them, but now he wrestles and plays with one of them, as the other one is still trying. He is just about house broken , he cries at the door now and we are so proud of him. Max also comes to his name, I take him for a walk every morning after I get home from work, he is soooo adorable, he holds on to his own leash and walks himself. He sleeps through most of the night and knows how to dirt on the puppy training pads at night. I have decided to keep him on Royal Canin food seeing how he just devours it, he is a big time cuddler. Yah so he is doing great. This after noon we are taking him to the pet store to buy him a big bed and maybe a new toy, I would also like to look into buying him some appropriate treats to reward him for the good that he does, because I think rubbing him and kind words isn't enough anymore. We will be traveling to Ft. Mac in mid November, I'm not sure if you'll be in town then, but just let me know if you are and we will surly pop in for a visit. Thanks again for this wonderful gift, and I shall talk to you again soon. Take care.

 REX

Oct. 10, 2009 Rex getting ready to go to his new home in Fort McMurray with Asmir and Klara.

Oct. 11, 2009 How are you doing?  We just want to give you and update on how everything went yesterday.  the ride home was good.  I had him on my lap and he fell asleep before we were off the dirt road.  He slept for most of the ride home.  I did put him on the back seat at one point thinking that he would be more comfortable and he would have been able to stretch out but he didn't like being in the back by himself! =) so he spent the ride home in my lap mostly sleeping.  He did good when we came home.  he was exploring the house a little bit and he peed outside when we took him out!  We gave him some food as soon as we got home and then some more a few hours later and that seemed to have thrown him off schedule a little bit.  Today was back on schedule and eating 3 times a day.  he is pooping outside and peeing.  he has had a couple little accidents in the house but for the most part he is good about doing it outside.  we went for a walk with him a little earlier tonight!  it was an experience he liked!  he is sleeping right now!  curled up right next to my husband.  Thank you again for everything!  i will send you some pictures later on and let you know how he is doing!  have a good night! thank you again. klara and asmir

RAZER

Jan. 17, 2009 Hi Adrienne,
thank you so much for our new puppy; Razer. We all adore him. By the way this is Hunter, Boyd and  Kelly's  daughter. Sorry we couldn't emailed you pictures sooner, but our computer wasn't working, then we got a new computer and couldn't find the software to our camera till I got camera of my own for christmas and all i do is take pictures of him and some of them are so funny , but all so still so cute. He has learned many commands already like: lay down, sit stay , he can almost shake a paw, he doesnt always come on command but he usually does and that all i can remember. He is a very good traveler too. He enjoys going to work with my dad and loves playing in the snow. Some times he thinks he is a prince and hops right up on the couch and falls asleep there. Some nights when i go downstairs to go to bed he follows me right to my room to sleep. He sleeps in my parents room on dog bed and sleeps there till my dads alarm goes off. He doesn't jump on their bed till my dads snooze alarm goes off. At supper he is very good he doesn't beg very often in my perspective. We will be sure to Keep you updated with pictures.
thanks a ton Adrienne,
sincerely Hunter-Lloydminster, Ab.
P.S. Give Mocha and Duke a kiss for Razer....WOOF WOOF!!!!

KAPER

Kaper just before she left for her new home.

Sept. 30, 2008 I am sorry for the delay in sending you an email.  Kaper was really good on the drive home, she slept most of the way.  She was really good the first night she only cried a little bit.  She loves being outside and enjoys chasing the leaves around the yard.  As soon as I find my camera cord I will email you some updated pictures.
Thanks so much. Mel and Les- Fort McMurray, Ab.

Nov. 29, 2009 I just wanted to drop you a line and update you on little Kaper.  She has adjusted well and she was almost house trained until she ended up getting a UTI.  We have been to the vet several times and we are still working on getting her better the UTI just doesn't seem to want to go away. Hopefully soon she will get better so that we can get all her shots up to date.  Besides a little UTI she is great,  she has a great personality and everyone loves her especially the lovely ladies at the vet's office.  She is growing fast and keeping us busy.I have attached a few pictures of Kaper. Thanks so much

Jan. 17, 2009 Kaper is doing great, her UTI cleared up.  She is a really smart dog,  she already knows sit, stay, come, down and shake a paw,  we are still working on rolling over.  She is currently 36lbs and very active.  She is such a great addition to our family and I thank you very much for that.
Happy New Year and we will be in touch.  Mel

SHELBIE

Sept. 28, 2008 Hi Adrienne, just a quick note to let you know how Shelbie is doing. She did great on the ride home, she cried a little when we first left , but after we stopped for a run in the park she calmed down and slept most of the way home.  She took to her dog house outside right away and that is her favorite spot, we try to bring her in the house but she just cries to go back out. She wanted to sleep in the dog house last night, but I made her come in and sleep in the  vari-kennel. She did very well last night, she cried when I first put her in but calmed down when she found her warm water bottle and stuffed toy in there. She was quiet all night and didn't have any accidents!! She went straight out to pee at six a.m. and did great!!       She has had a couple of accidents in the house, but over all she is doing very well. She loves the kids!!!  Especially the six year old...instant best buddies!  Thanks for the wonderful puppy! Here is a pic from when she first got home. Talk to you soon, The Webber family.

Oct. 6, 2008 Hi Adrienne, It has been a little over a week that we have had Shelbie and she is awesome!! She is just about nine weeks now and she has growen a lot already. She is fully kennel trained at night and she doesn't even whine anymore unless she has to"go".  She is doing very well with the potty training she just has to get more of those poops in the dog run and not on the lawn!!  She loves being off leash and she stays close by but she is doing o.k with the on leash training as well.   She is such an awesome girl and she is such a member of the family now...we just love her!! hope this new pic of her goes though!!  Thanks again... The Webber's(and Shelbie)

JASPER

Sept. 25, 2008 Jasper's first night went so well.  We were so impressed with him.  He stayed in our room and only whined once then settled in for the night, with some pee breaks :)  He seems to like curling up around Kevin's head and pretty much shared a pillow with him all night.  Once we're moved we'll get him sleeping on his own bed.  He was great in the car on the way home too, never cried and slept off and on without getting sick.  We are so amazed with him, he's really independent and doesn't cry or whine.  He's starting to get the trick of peeing outside, now when he does have an accident it's on the front door rug.  He's just got to learn to bark to go outside. We have fallen head over heels in love with him.  He's just such a sweetheart.
Thank you for the amazing little pup!  He's more than we could have asked for.
We'll send you pictures of Jasper in his (and our) new home next week. Thank you,
Farah - Calgary, Ab.

Oct. 29, 2008  New picture of Jasper above.  He’s doing great and starts preschool on Nov 13th.  He’s been dropping his puppy coat and his shiny new adult one is coming in now.  He and Bosco (our Berner Puppy) are getting along really well.  We’re really happy we have both pups together, Jasper was happy before but now he’s even happier having a little buddy to wrestle with.  In the mornings they lick each other’s face and they take naps beside each other with Bosco’s chin resting on Jasper’s back.  No pictures of the naps though, every time we try one of them moves away. Talk to you soon, Farah, Kevin, Jasper & Bosco

Dec. 4, 2008 Jasper has grown so much!  I forgot how small he was until i looked at older pictures and saw this little round butter ball!
He started puppy preschool 3 weeks ago, and he's doing really well.  He and our 2nd addition Bosco the Bernese Mtn. Dog get along so well, they are best friends.  They wrestle, and play then cuddle up together.  Jasper loves going for walks, and sometimes we run into other dogs for him and Bosco to play with.  Jasper is so cuddly.  He's a lap dog and loves to sleep beside us on the couch.  If I fall asleep on the couch he'll crawl up and snuggle up on my back and pass right out.  Sometimes he snores which is hilarious.  He loves people and our preschool teacher is always commenting on what a people dog he is.  We're hoping we can get him trained well enough that one day he can visit sick kids or senior citizens.  We're trying to teach him fetch but he still likes to keep the ball away more than anything.  He knows how to shake a paw, come, sit and stay for a short time only.  He loves running and enjoys his off leash time during our walks.  We love him, he's just so sweet. We think he's very smart, and without a doubt he tries to get away with   anything he can.  But he makes up for his sometimes naughty behavior by cleaning my feet for me when I get home from work :)  He's a very loving dog and only wants to be with us and please us.  We love him very much.
Hope everything is going well for you.
Talk to you soon,
Kevin & Farah (Jasper sends his kisses!

Dec.18, 2008

Jasper is doing great.  He had his last puppy shot yesterday.  Vet said he's doing great, he has two adult teeth (his front ones, just in time for Christmas!) and he's healthy.  He weighed in at 14.2kg.  He's definitly a people dog, and he loves the vet, after his shots he still gave her kisses.  After the vet we took the boys to the pet store and bought them some new toys.  Jasper loves anything that squeeks.  It's so funny to watch.  Within 5 mins of having the new toys at home he knew exactly which ones squeek and how to do it.  He'll just sit there with the toy in his mouth, opening and closing his jaw over and over making it squeek.  He especially loves the squeeky Hedge Hog we got him.  It's been really cold here and he definetly does not like the cold, even to go out to the bathroom.  Once he's older we'll get him a jacket and booties, he's getting a bit stir crazy in the house.
He's growing quickly!  I found him standing up on the kitchen table the other day.  It was hard to be mad at him because he was so proud of himself for getting up there.
Like I said, I'll try to send some pictures this weekend and some Christmas shots after that too.
Take care,Farah, Kevin, Jasper & Bosco
