KENZIE

Nov. 11, 2010  Just wanted to give you a little update.  Kenzie( the name I have decided) is doing great!
She just started sleeping through the night, and by night I mean (9-4am) haha! She hasn't really gotten the hang of sleeping in yet! Luckily she  hasn't made any messes in her kennel!  I visited my vet a couple days ago and she was already up to 12.5 pounds and going strong....ud think i'm starving her the way she wolfs down her food and tries to attack the large bag of food!
She's a little biter/chewer, I forgot how sharp those little puppy teeth are.  Guess that's why puppies are so cute, that way you cant get mad at them when they do something wrong! Amanda, Fort McMurray, AB

      COMPASS ROSE

Nov. 7, 2010 Compass Rose with her new owners, Jared & Kristin of Culver City, CA.

Nov. 8, 2010 We took Ms Compass to the park for a quick break and she started "pouncing".  So funny!!

Nov. 13, 2010 She officially has settled into the California lifestyle. :)
The flight could not have gone better! Of course she was the center of attention in the security line.  She hated the little bag we had her travel in unless... her little head was sticking out the top!  So we walked around the airport checking everything out and boarded the first plane.  In the plane she sat under our seats ( at our feet)with with her eyes looking up.  Of course Kristin couldn't take it anymore and had to hold her where she slept the entire flight!  When we reached Minnesota we got off the plane and took her to the ladies room.  Kristin put a few paper towels down... she did her business!  We played with her for a while in a quite place (that wasn't for compass that was for us, everyone wants to say hi)  After that we boarded the next plane for the 4 hour flight to CA.  Of course this exceptionally behaved pup slept the entire time.
She has been sleeping with us... She is 13 pounds and eats...sleeps...poops.. repeat! (but you know that)  She has gone to work with me and today she is going to meet my Mom. So far she loves the weather, her leash, and most of all plastic half full water bottles.
Attached are a few pictures my neighbor took (he is a photographer) We plan on send many more to you.
Thanks again for everything, we can't say enough good things about her and where she came from!

Feb. 8, 2011 Everything is going really well. Here is a picture of us having lunch at the beach in Malibu on Sunday.  She loves digging in the sand and staring out on the water watching the birds.  This is one spoiled lab!

MALLY

Oct. 24, 2009 Brad and Tasha of Prince George, B.C. with Mally.

Below Mally is getting acquainted with her new big sisters Petey and Charlie.

Nov. 23, 2009I tell you she sure has bonded with Charlie.  She sleeps curled up to her all the time, and they are always playing with each other!  She is a very smart little puppy.  She is already house trained, and she knows sit, stay, it not for you, go lay down, heal, and watch me!  And she loves playing fetch, she brings it back and knows to let it go when we say drop it. We just took her to the vet this last week, and she is 16 pounds and healthy!   We also decided to go back to the chicken veggie raw diet, and she loves it!
I have noticed a few times outside that when she has found a scent in the snow, she points, its so cute.
So I attach a few pics of O'Mally and her big sisters.  The first one was the day after we left, and spent the nite in Jasper.  She was an excellent camper!  The most recent picture is the last one with snow on her nose, I think it was taken this last weekend.
Thanks again for O'Mally.  Keep in touch and will ttys! Sincerely,Tasha

JAX

Oct. 24, 2009 Noelle and Bryan of Fort McMurray with Jax.

October 29, 2009 Sorry for taking so long to get back to you with this first update. We have been  busy moving into our new house and we could not get our internet reconnected until today. I'm in the office today at work so I finally get a chance to get back to you.
Jax did great on the drive back to Fort McMurray, he was content and asleep before we even made the turn onto highway 63. We headed straight home and didn't have to stop at all along the way. He was quite happy to get home and have some dinner. He whined a little on the first night but he has settled in quite well now. Our son Logan just adores him and you can tell they are going to be the best of friends. Potty training is coming along really well. He has only had a few accidents with pee in the house but other than that he seems to understand that he needs to go outside to do his business and cries to do so.
I will send another email with some better pics as soon as I get the chance ( we need to buy a new camera) But I have attached a couple that I have taken with my phone.
We absolutely Love Jax he's an awesome little puppy we are so happy to add him to our family. Thanks so much I'll email again soon. Noelle

Aug. 12, 2010    It's been such  a long time since we wrote to give you an update on Jax I figure it's about time. Jax Is doing great he's a wonderfully smart dog, maybe sometimes a little to smart!  He's had his moments, he loves to chew, mostly the soles of shoes! However he seems to be getting better with that., and we are getting better at putting the shoes where they belong like the closet. he is also under the impression that he is still a small puppy. Which means we now have an 80lb lap dog that crawls up into our arms anytime we are sitting down somewhere, and he is always stealing the blankets at bedtime! Jax and Logan are the best of friends. Both have bundles of energy and the tire each other out from the time they get up until it's time to go to bed. When it isn't raining we usually take a trip to the park everyday so Logan can play and jax can chase his Frisbee in the field. He also loves to chase the Frisbee in the water, at first he would just splash around and not go over his head but after a few throws of the Frisbee he's developed a real love for water. He will do anything for his Frisbee, In fact he would probably choose to chase the Frisbee over a full bowl of food (and he LOVES food). Jax is also a great jogging partner, he prefers to be off leash when doing this and will stay right by your side. He is just an all around great dog.  We are considering getting him a brother or sister sometime in the near future, just for some K9 company for him. He used to love play dates with my parents dog, Kash. They would play and play for hours on end.
Unfortunately there was an accident and Kash passed away this past month and we all miss him very much. So maybe there will be another lab, possibly a chocolate joining our family sometime soon. I've always liked labs, but having Jax has turned me into a real lab lover. They are an amazing breed of dog. Jax is the most easy going loveable dog I've ever met he's great with anyone especially Logan whose 4. People fall in love with him wherever we go . Thanks so much to introducing us to such a great dog.
I have a ton of pictures at home but since I'm writing from work , I only have a couple on my computer that I send. Here are a few photos from our most recent camping trip .
 best regards,
Noelle

  TUESDAY x DUKE LITTER

Born Sept. 6, 2008

JAKE

Just wanted to drop you a note to say hello and give you an update. After 5 weeks of patiently waiting for Jake to be tested, I am delighted to let you know that he has been accepted  for search and rescue.  We started our training yesterday and he did really well.  We both have lots to learn, but I know that it’s going to be a lot of fun and very rewarding. He is a very good dog; he is smart and has grown so much since we got him.  He knows how to “back up” on command – mostly so that he is far enough away to catch his ball and can high five (thank my daughter for that one), sit and a few other things, some of which we need to stop.Sadly, we had to take down his pen (4 feet by 6 feet) yesterday, as we are having our floors tiled.  He has a warm bed, and will get used to the open space, right now it’s just mess, but will be tiled in a few days.Hope you are doing well.  Thanks again for Jake – he is a warm addition to our family. God bless! Carlene- Edmonton, Ab.

TANNER

March 10, 2008 David & Crystal of Fort McMurray picking up Tanner.

Hi Adrienne- We just wanted to send you an update to let you know Tanner is doing very well. He slept most of the way home yesterday, (he was awake for about 30 min), and didn't get car sick at all. We stopped a couple of times to let him pee and he did fine. He had no trouble eating supper last night and he has been drinking lots of water. He slept really well last night and didn't whine at all. He is also doing great with going outside to use the bathroom, he only had one accident in the house, and that was through the night. We are very proud of him!
We have attached a few pictures for you and will update you with more later on.
He had quite a few naps today and loves to play with his toys. He likes being outside too. Everyone that gets to see him, loves him. We feel very lucky to have him, he is a great addition to our home. Thanks again for your help in bringing him into our lives! Call or e-mail anytime. David and Crystal

April 22, 2008Just wanted to send you a little note to let you know everything is going well and Tanner is doing great! Hope all is well with you also. Tanner is now 3 months old and about 28 pounds. We had him at the vet a few weeks ago for his shots and he did awesome. He was the talk of the office.
He really likes playing outside, going for walks, pulling branches off the trees, etc. He keeps us really busy. He is sleeping through the night and rarely needs to go outside through the night as well. He's been letting us know for the last couple weeks when he needs to go outside.
I have attached some more pictures for you that I have taken in the last couple of days. Hope you like them.
P.S. Tanner says to say HI. Take Care,Crystal
